About Fatidica

Different traditions. Different ways of seeing. One place to explore what matters to you.

Fatidica is an independent project founded by Ekaterina Hontar, bringing together traditional divination practices, symbolic interpretation, and modern digital tools.

Here, Tarot, astrology, numerology, dream interpretation, and other symbolic systems are approached as distinct methods, each with its own history, structure, and way of examining a question.

Some experiences can be explored through an online reading. Others call for individual attention, conversation, and the personal work of a practitioner.

Fatidica was created to make room for both.

Why Fatidica Exists

A symbol rarely exists in isolation.

The same image can appear in different dreams. The same Tarot card can take on different meanings depending on its position and the cards surrounding it. A number may carry one interpretation on its own and another within a larger calculation.

Yet interpretations are often reduced to a single definition, detached from everything around it.

Fatidica takes a different approach.

Rather than treating every symbol as a ready-made answer, we look at the method behind it, the relationships between its elements, and the context of the question being explored.

The aim isn’t to make every reading sound mysterious or certain. It’s to make the interpretation more considered, coherent, and useful to the person receiving it.

Where Tradition Meets Technology

Traditional practices weren’t designed for digital interfaces. Adapting them involves more than placing familiar interpretations into an automated response.

Different methods require different foundations.

Astrological readings begin with calculated planetary positions. Numerology follows defined numerical systems. Tarot relies on the cards drawn, their positions, and the relationships within a spread. Other symbolic practices depend more heavily on observation, context, and individual interpretation.

Fatidica brings these approaches into a digital environment while preserving their differences.

Automated readings use computational tools and AI-assisted interpretation. They are distinct from personal sessions and rituals conducted by Ekaterina.

Technology makes certain methods more accessible. It doesn’t turn every interpretation into an established fact, nor does it replace the judgment involved in individual practice.

The Person Behind Fatidica

Fatidica was founded by Ekaterina Hontar, also known as Kate.

Before dedicating herself professionally to symbolic practices in 2020, Ekaterina spent years working in banking. Her interest in dreams, divination, and traditional symbolism developed alongside that career.

Over time, personal observations grew into extensive notes, independent study, practical experience, and books exploring candle rituals, coffee ground reading, wax casting, and the nature of human desire.

That history continues to influence Fatidica’s approach: paying attention to details, comparing interpretations, and resisting the temptation to turn every ambiguous sign into a definitive answer.
